Last reviewed: 2026-10-18

  1. Is financial education taught in grades K–8 in our district?

The audit asked each district exactly this, and recorded the answer it was given.

  2. In which grades is it taught?

The audit recorded grade levels where a district named them.

  3. Is it a separate course or unit, or part of another subject?

The audit recorded delivery as a dedicated course, within another course, or not stated.

  4. Who in the district is responsible for it?

A named office or role makes it possible to ask follow-up questions.

  5. Where is it documented?

For example board policy, a curriculum guide or a course description. A written source can be checked by anyone.

  6. Can the district share that documentation publicly?

The audit publishes replies as the district stated them, and a missing reply is recorded as missing.

Before the meeting, look up your district in the tracker to see what it told the audit. Ask for a written answer you can check. These questions do not assume what the law requires.
