[08-11] Hello, Thank you for following up. We have received your public records request and will begin working on it right away, with the goal of fulfilling the request within 30 days. Thank you for your patience. || [08-20] Good afternoon, Thank you for following up, and I apologize for the delay in responding to your request. Brunswick County Schools does not offer a standalone, dedicated, credit-bearing personal finance course for students in grades K-8. At the K-8 level, financial literacy concepts are incorporated into the North Carolina Standard Course of Study through areas such as social studies and mathematics. These standards introduce students to concepts including money, economic decision-making, budgeting and other foundational financial literacy skills as appropriate by grade level. At the high school level, North Carolina requires students to complete Economics and Personal Finance as part of the state's graduation requirements. Please let me know if you have any additional questions regarding this request. Thank you
