> Dear [requester], Thank you for reaching out to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools regarding your public records request submitted on July 28, 2026. the Superintendent shared your email with me. In response to your query: Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools does not offer a dedicated, standalone K-8 personal finance course. In alignment with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Standard Course of Study, financial literacy and economic concepts in grades K-8 are integrated directly into the North Carolina Social Studies Essential Standards through embedded strands across those grade levels, rather than taught as a standalone class. Please let us know if you need any further clarification or records regarding this matter. Best, [Chief Academic Officer]
